Prahelika is a 2023 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Chayanika Chowdhury. Story, dialogues and screenplay are written by Panth Shahriar. Actor Mahfuz Ahmed came to the big screen after eight years through this movie. Shabnam Bubli acted opposite him. This is the second film directed by Chayanika Chowdhury. This film is shot by Sumon Hossain and edited by Ramzan Ali. Ambient music is sung by Emon Saha.

The film’s first song is “Megher Noaka” which was announced at a press meet on the occasion of its first release at Dhaka Club in February 2023. The song is sung by Imran Mahmudul and Konal with lyrics by Asif Iqbal. The music video was shot on 22 December 2022 in Cox’s Bazar. The music video of its second song sung by Kishore and Swarlipi gained popularity among people after it was uploaded on YouTube on June 22 of the same year.

On Eid 29 June 2023, the film was released in five branches of Star Cineplex in Dhaka and Chittagong and Blockbuster Cinemas, Lion Cinemas and Silver Screen in Chittagong in a total of eight halls.
