Red Arrows Lineup 1969?

Final weekend Mrs SD and I attended an antiques truthful in Worcestershire. The pickings weren’t good – it was actually just one step up from a jumble sale – however one stall had a number of bits of aviation memorabilia, together with a framed print commemorating a Crimson Arrows show in 1969. The vendor instructed me that it had come from a home downsizing he’d helped with and I used to be intrigued sufficient to pay the modest worth requested.

I’ve tried to ID the signatures based mostly on the checklist of earlier group members on the RAF’s Crimson Arrows group web page. For 1969 that checklist is as follows:

Chief Sqn Ldr R G Hanna, 2 Match Lt P R Evans, 3 Match Lt D A Smith, 4 Match Lt R B Duckett, 5 Match Lt R Perreaux, 6 Match Lt JT Kingsley, 7 Match Lt I CH Dick, 8 Match Lt JD Rust, 9 Sqn Ldr R P Dunn, Supervisor Flt Lt P Waterproof coat, Engineer Fg Off G E White, Adjutant Match Lt R Dench

These positions do not fairly match the signatures by the formation. From high to backside of the formation drawing I could make out:

First row – Euan Perreaux
Second row – ?, Doug Smith
Third row – I Dick, J Kingsley?, ?
Fourth row – J Rust, Peter Evans
Fifth row – Dick Duckett

The lead (third row proper) is unquestionably not Ray Hanna (examples of his signature may be discovered on-line). The primary signature of the second row may presumably be Dunn, but it surely’s onerous to say.

Of the opposite signatures, one is clearly Ivor Broom, who some analysis reveals was Commandant CFS on the time. The one at backside left is perhaps G E White (EngO). I am unable to make out the third, at high left.

So, who’re the unknown signatures? And the place is Ray Hanna’s?
